ABOUT SURVIVORS AT THE SUMMIT...
For the past 19 years, hundreds of individuals affected by cancer and their families and friends have gathered for Survivors at the Summit, an inspirational event that Symbolizes the challenges individuals face during the cancer journey; Pays tribute to their courage and determination; Honors the memory of those whose lives have been cut short by cancer, and Raises funds to support the quality of life programming provided to members of our community, at no charge.
Modeled after traditional Tibetan prayer flags, Tribute Flags honor those who are affected by cancer, survivors and those who have passed away. Each flag, sold for $25, is hung at the top of Peruvian Gulch at Snowbird Ski & Summer resort during our event. They are made available for viewing as hikers, runners, mountain bikers, and lift riders meet together at Peruvian Gulch to participate in a Celebration of life ceremony. Each flag is lovingly returned to the person who purchased it following the event as a keepsake from this powerful and often life changing experience. PURCHASE YOUR FLAGS HERE
