J Dilla Day Weekend Hosted by Ma Dukes.

In recent years, fans have celebrated the legacy of the late, great producer J Dilla with the annual Dilla Day tribute concert Jay Dee's hometown of Detroit.  In 2015, the festivities will be officially moving to the warmer climates of Miami, FL for a full weekend of Dilla events. 

Presented by Dilla's mother Ma Dukes, this year's Dilla Day Weekend is set to take place in Miami from February 5th - February 8th.  Confirmed performers include Joey Bada$$, Mobb Deep, Pete Rock, Madlib, Talib Kweli, Slum Village, Kaytranada, Black Milk, ESTA, Tony Touch, Camp Lo, and many more to be announced. The events will take place in a number of different locations around Midtown/Wynwood area in Miami including: The Stage, Bardot, and LMNT.

In addition to performances, there will be producer panels, BBQs, artist meet and greets, and other Dilla-related events. "Dilla's music is timeless and lives in all of us," explains Ma Dukes.  "I expect Miami to become the icon of event holders for the Dilla legacy, and raise the bar for events globally."

3-day bands will grant you access to the shows taking place Friday - Sunday across the city at The Stage, and LMNT and more TBA. 

3-day bands also grant you exclusive access to private panels, workshops, and other activities taking place over the weekend throughout the city.

(THESE BANDS DO NOT GRANT YOU ACCESS TO BARDOT ON THURSDAY 2/5 FOR MADLIB AND YOU CANNOT PICK UP YOUR 3DAY BAND ON THURSDAY 2/5)

Those of you who snagged a 3Day band have 2 pick-up options:
1) you can pick up your band from 9 PM on Friday 2/6 outside of The Stage
2) you can pick up your band as of 1:00 PM on Saturday 2/7 at the will call table at LMNT



AGE LIMIT AND DRINKING:
The Madlib event at Bardot Miami is STRICTLY over 21. no exceptions.
The JDilla BBQ and the events at the Stage will be IDing for over 21 for those people who wish to drink at the bars. FOR ALL THOSE ATTENDING UNDER 21: an additional fee of $5-10 may be added at the door before entry.
