Join the State of Young Philly team for this year's #SOYP15 Service Project at Norris Square Neighborhood Project conveniently located by the York-Dauphin El Stop.
Norris Square Neighborhood Project's team will give an intimate tour of their six Puerto Rican gardens that the organization has operated since the 1980s growing organic produce using sustainable farming techniques.
After the tour, the #SOYP15 group will work with NSNP to help build an earthship-style greenhouse followed by lunch of traditional Puerto Rican food (vegetarian options available!)
Come give back and learn about sustainable construction techniques while discovering one of Philly's hidden gems!
